to Casa Lalita: Fly to Cancun Most major airlines have fights into Cancun. Don't forget to check for charters from your area, they often have good prices and non-stop flights. Go to Puerto Morelos Puerto Morelos is a 20 minutes taxi ride south of the Cancun airport. You can use American dollars for ground transportation. Greyhound type buses will take you to the highway entrance to Puerto Morelos. You then need to walk across the highway to the taxi stand and take a taxi into town. Total cost around $7 Mini-buses take around eight people and cost about $15 plus a tip. You may need to wait a bit for the bus to fill but it will take you right to the door. Casa Lalita Addresses are of little use in Puerto Morelos due to lack of street signs. To get to Casa Lalita you take a left on the main street that runs by the town square. (It is the 2nd street when you arrive into the village). You take that street until it deadends - turn around and go back to the first corner and turn right. Immediately after turning the corner you will be in front of wrought iron arched gates bordered by a street garden. That is the entrance into Casa Lalita. Casa Lalita is 3 stories high, sits on a corner and has many arches. There is a phone at Casa Lalita that is available for emergencies. The number from the US is: 011 52 998 871 0284 From the airport or Cancun: 871 0284 If your driver gets lost have him ask a Puerto Morelos taxi driver. They almost all know where to find Casa Lalita.
